Aims and Scope
The African Journal of Anatomy and Physiology aims to publish original research articles, systematic reviews, meta-analyses, narrative reviews, short communications, technical notes, case reports of significant educational value, and editorials that contribute to the advancement of anatomical and physiological sciences.
The journal provides a multidisciplinary forum for the dissemination of fundamental, experimental, translational, and clinical research that enhances understanding of the structural organization and functional mechanisms of the human body and other living organisms. Particular emphasis is placed on research with clinical relevance, educational innovation, and applications that improve human health.
